Burn-through: welding current is too large, welding speed is too slow, arc residence time is longer.
The incompleteness of welded joints is called welding defects, which mainly include welding cracks, incomplete penetration, slag inclusion, pore and weld appearance defects. These deficiencies reduce the cross-sectional area of the weld, reduce the load-carrying capacity, produce stress concentration and cause cracks; reduce fatigue strength, easily lead to weld fracture and brittle fracture.
